Minnesota wildlife officials tried for six days to capture a bear that had a plastic jar stuck over its head, but ended up killing the animal after it wandered into a city during a festival.

- First - I don't understand why (after 5 years of employment) they are just now running a background check or looking at the background check they ran when she applied. Also - I think everyone should run their own background check before you apply for employment.

- @Mike - Sorry - you are very misguided if you believe driving is a right. You have a right to take the driving test - but receiving the license is a privilege. You are not guaranteed the "right" to drive. You are only guaranteed the "right" to pursue the license by taking the driving test.

- I'm sorry - this is the most inhumane and callous remark I have ever read - ""I think of the chimpanzees in the same way that I think of a library." Obviously these scientists need to get out of their laboratories if they equate a living, breathing, creature to a book.
